❀ Hello Kitty Cake

We took a quick shot of this Hello Kitty Mixed Fruit Cake. Don't know why, but, a lot of establishments in Hong Kong are camera unfriendly. Anyway, the cake is HK$138 (May 2009) at Maxim's in Hong Kong's MTR.

❀ Jumbo Snoopy Hotdog

My lovey ordered this Jumbo Snoopy Hotdog (pic above) at Charlie Brown Cafe in Tsim Sha Tsui. It's HK$48 (May 2009) and was served with a free bowl of minestrone soup. You get free soup when you dine between 11:30am and 2:30pm on Mon-Fri. The sandwich was humongous. When the waiter set the plate on the table we both said "whoa!"



My order of Cheese Sausage Hotdog (pic above) at HK$39 (May 2009). It came with a free bowl of super yummy pumpkin soup. I couldn't finish my meal even though it was really yummy. The portions are just too big for me. That big bowl of soup was enough to get me full. Notice the size of the sandwiches to the size of the table.



We had separate but adjoining tables and in the picture above, you see the contrast of the hotdog sizes.

Will I go back to eat here again next year's vacation? Yes, I will. I loved the pumpkin soup.

My lovey got this genuine leather black Hong Kong Disneyland Lanyard at HK$150 (May 2009). It's encased in this gray and silver box with gray satin and black felt lining. The third photo shows the cover of the box.

He got this Samsung GT-M8800H Pixon (see photo above) at Broadway in Hong Kong for HK$3,500 (May 2009). They gave it to us with a lot of free stuff:

I wonder how many halloweens ago this halloween Fanta drink went unsold. It's weird that this vending machine in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong still has it on the month of May. All drinks are at HK$5 (May 2009) each.

❀ Esprit Bag

Got this yellow Esprit at Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung, Hong Kong at HK$249. (May 2009) This yellow bag wasn't in the Esprit outlet in Hankow Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. There was a cute white bag at the Hankow Rd branch that I also wanted but wasn't in stock in the Esprit outlet in Citygate. So it's a good idea to go to both branches for variety.

❀ Ten Thousand Buddhas

❀ Da Dolce Cake

Got this shot at Da Dolce in New Town Plaza at Sha Tin Hong Kong. It's their Animal World Gelato Cake at HK$288 (May 2009) each. Haven't tried it but it sure looks yummy.

❀ Pagoda

Pagoda at the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery in Sha Tin Hong Kong. We didn't plan to climb the 400+ steps up the mountain to reach this temple. We just intended to take a couple of shots of the Golden Buddhas lined up the steps all the way up the mountain. We were so fascinated and kept taking shots and before we knew it we actually made the 400 step climb up.

It's beautiful up here. It's so worth the climb. But on our descent back my legs got too tired and started to tremble and I was scared I'd fall all the way down the stairs.

❀ HK Disneyland Hotel Keychain

Got this Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Keychain souvenir at Kingdom Gifts for HK$60 (May 2009). The front has a jewelled hidden Mickey on top while the back bears the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel logo.

❀ Mickey Maze

It's the Mickey Maze at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. There's a hidden Mickey inside but I got a lousy shot so it's not showing. The people inside are workers trimming the shrubbery with chainsaws.

❀ New Grand Watch Shop

This is my first post since our May 23-30, 2009 vacation in Hong Kong. I'd like to thank New Grand Jewellery & Watch Shop at Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui (near the Kowloon Mosque) for adjusting the strap of my Minnie Mouse Disneyland Watch for free.
